Get your Brunch on with us (food, drinks, music, giveaways and lots more…) and our pals at Reef and the Patagonia Cardiff store at High Noon this Sunday –– to help us celebrate the 4 year anniversary of our award winning ‪#‎WasteToWaves‬ program, which helps individuals to recycle their waste styrofoam packaging into new consumer products…like custom surfboards!

Price of admission? Free! but be sure to bring in any used styrofoam packaging you may have laying around (or that you find on the beach tomorrow during the ‪#‎CoastalCleanupDay‬), and we’ll get it recycled with help from our friends at Marko Foam who will turn that “trash to slash”, by incorporating as much of it as they can into their recycled EPS surfboard cores.

Brunch Menu:

• Appetizer: Rough cut premiere of the latest Waste to Waves video featuring Reef athlete ambassadors (Taylor Knox & Kai Otton) on ECOBOARD surfboards made with recycled styrofoam cores. Hangout with Reef ambassadors like Rob Machado and Tia Blanco , and the W2W Photo Booth will also be there to capture your shenanigans and funny faces too with free photos for all!

• 1st Course: Sustainably sourced seafood by Fish 101 and snacks by Patagonia Provisions.

• 2nd Course: Tasty Beverages by local Saint Archer Brewery, Head High Wines and Suja Juice

• 3rd Course: Live Music by Kurt Hunter

• Dessert: Silent auction of custom built CI Surfboards ECOBOARDs ridden and signed by Taylor Knox and Kai Otton, and some great Reef gear too. All to benefit Sustainable Surf.

We really hope you can make it, because this party is partly pure fun – and part call to action. We hope to inspire individual residents in the local SD North County community to bring their used styrofoam to the Patagonia Cardiff store that day, for an “all-you-can recycle” foam drive. This helps to keep this material from ending up as plastic trash in the ocean, and gets more ocean-friendly materials turned back into high performance, recycled EPS surfboard cores, that can then get made into ECOBOARDs.

When: Sunday, September 20th Noon – 3 PM

Where: Patagonia Cardiff store: 2185 San Elijo Ave, Cardiff, CA 92007
