Middle School Collects Mountain of Foam for Waste to Waves

The 7th Grade science class at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School collected a huge pile of EPS foam over the holidays. The kids put out this notice in the school newspaper. See for yourself the results. They filled up the Marko Foam van!

The kids are submitting to the Quiksilver Science Challenge, and this was their community service project required for submission.  Look how much foam they kept out of our landfills and oceans.  They are now in the process of having two “Ecoboards” shaped from Marko recycled EPS foam, which will then be glassed with Entropy Super Sap resin.
